Use case
The CFAO Automotive group has the largest automotive distribution network in Africa. It is also established in Vietnam and overseas.
With more than 160 dealerships in 35 countries and nearly 80,000 vehicles sold each year, customs clearance times are a major issue for CFAO Automotive. The challenge is threefold: improving availability to the end customer, reducing shipping and storage costs, reducing the need for working capital.
The performance of document flows is a key element in reducing lead times and costs.
The e.trustexport solution, business-oriented, scalable and customizable, has therefore been deployed in the group. Available as a white label, e.trustexport has taken on the colors of CFAO Automotive, under the name of Cloud AESyDOC.
The AESyDOC Cloud (alias e.trustexport) now enables the Sales Administration and Logistics teams located at headquarters, and the Transit Import departments of CFAO Automotive and CFAO Technology subsidiaries, to facilitate and accelerate operations related to customs clearance and thus improve delivery times for orders.
Workflow management notably includes :
- A single, common access point to shipping documents
- Reducing the time required to make the documentary bundles available
- The sequencing of customs clearance operations at destination
- Fine-tuning roles and permissions
- Performance measurement and statistics
Upstream of what is visible to users, the solution handles documents from various sources and formats, as well as gateways with the group’s IT systems. In total cybersecurity.
Thus far, 40 CFAO Automotive subsidiaries and distributors, French and English speaking, have access to AESyDOC, alias e.trustexport.
e.trustexport, a digital corridor between exporting companies and their clients.
